On the earth every living being are controlled by vital force which is flow in the form of energy in the dynamic form and works on every individual (either they are human, animals plants or micro-organism ) automatically and autocratically.
If vital force is flow in the well Harmony in body without any disturbance; this condition is called Health.
So health is defined as Harmonious way of flowing of vital force without having any abnormal feelings.
In Healthy condition; all living being feel good mentally as well as physically; here feel good factor of mind(which is the headquarter of dynamic vital force) is more important factor of healthy living being.
If we further go through the life of healthy living being there are many factors which disturb the normal flowing of energy(vital force).
These Causes are:
1. Emotional Factors e.g. Stress. Anger, Anxiety, Fear.
2. Bad Habit regarding to dite , bath, unhygenic conditions
3. Environmental Factors
4. Mechanical Factor
5. Traumatic Factor
6. Chemical Factors
All of them, emotional factors, bad habits are the main cause of disturbance in the flow of vital force.
So disturbed flow of energy make us sick and this is we called Dis-Ease(Feeling uncomfortable)
This is the commencement of the life threatening condition or this is the first stage or first baby step toward the more grievous disasters.
In this stage our mental sphere was disturbed. As we all know that Mind is divided into
1. Will
2. Intellectuality
3. Emotions.
(here i do not mention the animals and plants because they don't have the first most strongest part of mental sphere)
Now question is that, Which one is first affected and which one is last?
As far as my knowledge on the psychology the Will is the strongest , then Intellectuality and the last Emotional plane which is more flexible.
Suppose, the person who was healthy in his early life and after engaged in the stress, anger, sexual abuse, failures in life (love, exams, business etc.), Bad habits.
His/her emotional level affect first and he/she try to be another things for overpower his/her emotional stress(which is not the higher purpose of his life). It mean the disturbance in flow of vital force on the emotional level of human being, this is the real threshold for disease.
Now once he/she become weak and vital force strength decrease in minute amount. He/she is prone to further upcoming disasters of life.
He is liable to any kind of infection but only n lesser in degree.
Miasm
Hahnemann told us that Disease caused by miasm, acute disease caused by acute miasm and chronic disease caused by chronic miasm.
Now question is that What is miasm ?
Hahnemann in his aphorism no.73 describe that
“As regards acute diseases, they are either of such a kind as attack human beings individually, the exciting cause being injurious influences to which they were particularly exposed. Excesses in food, or an insufficient supply of it, severe physical impression, chills, over heatings, dissipation, strains, etc., or physical irritations, mental emotions, and the like, are exciting causes of such acute febrile affections; in reality, however, they are generally only a transient explosion of latent psora, which spontaneously returns to its dormant state if the acute diseases were not of too violent a character and were soon quelled. Or they are of such a kind as attack several persons at the same time, here and there (sporadically), by means of meteoric or telluric influences and injurious agents, the susceptibility for being morbidly affected by which is possessed by only a few persons at one time. Allied to these are those diseases in which many persons are attacked with very similar sufferings from the same cause (epidemically); these diseases generally become infectious (contagious) when they prevail among thickly congregated masses of human beings. Thence arise fevers, in each instance of a peculiar nature, and, because the cases of disease have an identical origin, they set up in all those they affect an identical morbid process, which when left to itself terminates in a moderate period of time in death or recovery. The calamities of war, inundations and famine are not infrequently their exciting causes and producers - sometimes they are peculiar acute miasms which recur in the same manner (hence known by some traditional name), which either attack persons but once in a lifetime, as the smallpox, measles, whooping-cough, the ancient, smooth, bright red scarlet fever of Sydenham, the mumps, etc., or such as recur frequently in pretty much the same manner, the plague of the Levant, the yellow fever of the sea-coast, the Asiatic cholera, etc.”
In aphorism 74
“Among chronic diseases we must still, alas!, reckon those so commonly met with, artificially produced in allopathic treatment by the prolonged use of violent heroic medicines in large and increasing doses, by the abuse of calomel, corrosive sublimate, mercurial ointment, nitrate of silver, iodine and its ointments, opium, valerian, cinchona bark and quinine, foxglove, prussic acid, sulphur and sulphuric acid, perennial purgatives, venesections, shedding streams of blood, leeches, issues, setons, etc., whereby the vital energy is sometimes weakened to an unmerciful extent, sometimes, if it do not succumb, gradually abnormally deranged (by each substance in a peculiar manner) in such a way that, in order to maintain life against these inimical and destructive attacks, it must produce a revolution in the organism, and either deprive some part of its irritability and sensibility, or exalt these to an excessive degree, cause dilatation or contraction, relaxation or induration or even total destruction of certain parts, and develop faulty organic alterations here and there in the interior or the exterior (cripple the body internally or externally), in order to preserve the organism from complete destruction of the life by the ever - renewed, hostile assaults of such destructive forces.”
The conclusion is that, human being first affected by acute miasm and goes into the disease condition which we called acute disease. The acute disease are those miasmatic diseases which comes suddenly, complete their course within a time period, which is limited for every acute condition and finally terminate either in recovery or death of person. This recovery may take place with or without the help of medicine.
So if the person suppressed them by the use of non-healing medicines e.g ointments, lotions, antibiotics, vaccination, steroids, he goes into deeper stage and become more sick(chronic disease).
Hahnemann said that Chronic diseases are caused by chronic miasm, so chronic miasm are not more than suppressed conditions of acute disease which is caused by acute miasm.
In his book Theory of Chronic disease he wrote that
“The miasm of the common gonorrhea seems not to penetrate the whole organism, but only to locally stimulate the urinary organs”
In one of his footnote of theory of chronic disease he said that
“Acute half spiritual miasm the peculiar characteristic that after they have penetrated the vital force in the first moment of the contagion and then like parasite quickly grown up within it and have uswally developed themselves by their peculiar fever after producing the fruit(The mature continous eruption which is again capable of producing its miasm) they again die out and leave the living organism again free to recover”
“On the other hand the chronic miasm disease-parasite which continue to live as long as the man seized by them is alive and which their fruit in the eruption originally produced by them (the itch pustules, chancre, and fig warts , which in turn are capable of infecting others) and which do not die off of themselves like the acute miasm, but only exterminated and annihilated by counter infection”
Thus it mean that Hahnemann want to say that Miasm are the Parasitic infectious agents (bacteria, viruses, fungi etc.)
Dr. H.A Robert in his book “The principle and art if cure by homeopathy” stated that Miasm is defined as polluting exhalations or malarial poisons. He also suggest the word Stigma for miasm which mean something present in the organism which is so harmful or able to produce new things.
From above discussion we are able to say that superficially miasm is infectious agent which produce disease.
But As all homeopaths say that Miasm is more than the infectious agent no one can understand the mind of Hahmenann.
Dr. Kent said that “Bacteria are the end results of disease. In the course of time the microscopically little fellows are not the cause of disease but that they are perfectly harmless in every respect. They are outcome of the disease, are present whenever the disease is & by the microscope it has been discovered that every pathological results, has its corresponding bacteria”.
Okay! If microorganisms are not the cause of disease and they are not fit in the world miasm as Hahnemann stated, then What is MIASM ?
Above we read that First Emotional disturbance of life disturbs the vital force , and once vital force disturbed then the consequences of disorders starts. After the emotional trauma, he seems busy in other stuffs
For example
One business man; he lost his one of his greatest assignment of his life, this lose disturbed him on the emotional level; he starts hard work over nights and days, his daily routine was disturbed by this and body wants energy and rest, but with lack of time due to trying to improvement his business, he start taking the instant energy and he moves toward the Coffee, Black tea, Smoking, Alcohol.
One Brilliant student who achieved success in every field of this school comes in the bad company , it is the another kind of emotional trauma, which makes him sick, he start any wrong things in the influence of bad company like Watching porn movies, Sexual activities, Smoking, alcohol consumption.
The unborn child, when child start breathing in the womb, he/she fully dependent on the mother, what she eat, what she drink, her habits all thing influence the growth of child in the womb and when she get some power full emotional trauma then child will also suffer with this. And he/she come in the outer world with the dis-ease feelings.
After this emotional disturbance person and engaged with some bad habits he prone to several kind of infections and we tag the name of these information e.g AIDS, Cancer, Cholera, Smallpox, Rabies, whatever we called they are thousands in an numbers.
Overall I mean to say that Miasm is not an infectious agent, Miasm is a Climate which is surrounds us and the contain of this climate are.
1. Emotional traumatic condition of life
2. Bad habits
3. Unhygienic conditions
4. Life style(sedentary or hyperactive)
5. Micro-organisms
6. Environmental factors (influence the above five causes)
These Environmental factors varies person to person depending on the susceptibility of person and also depend on the Sins of person. More sinner person effect more and less sinner person effect less by the climate. So don’t follow the line of our holly books that “Do the sins and bath into holly water for remove the sins”
So couclusion is that “MIASM IS A CLIMATE FORMED BY SIX FACTORS”
